Exam Arrangement Meeting
So as to create a favorable atmosphere for the Senior High School Entrance Examination, inherit the exam preparation experience and perfectly complete the review work for the 2017 Entrance Examination for Secondary School, during the morning reading session of 24th March, Anqing Foreign Language School convened the revision arrangement meeting designated for the 2017 Senior High School Entrance Examination. All teachers from the graduating classes in Grade 9 were in attendance.
In the first place, Principal Assistant Ling Qian proceeded the general guidance towards the review work of the 2017 Entrance Examination for Secondary School. He carried through specific elaboration in terms of the overall arrangement, objectives, tasks and strategies of the third-round revision formulated by Anqing Foreign Language School.
In the second place, Principal Assistant Ling Qian put forward detailed requirements with regard to the teaching work of all teachers from Grade 9 as well as head teachers’ work assignments. Principal Assistant Ling stressed that all the lesson preparation groups were supposed to realize learning exchange, common progress, resource sharing, information flow in addition to mutual assistance to make up for each other ’s deficiencies and learn from each other.
In the third place, Principal Assistant Ling Qian demanded that on the one hand, all the head teachers should construct the atmosphere at macro level, motivate students’ fighting will and set clear goals. On the other hand, head teachers should help students be realistic and down-to-earth to make their objectives of the struggle and take the initiative to study.
In the fourth place, Principal Assistant Ling Qian encouraged students to be inquisitive and cooperate with teachers. Also, teachers were supposed to lay emphasis on the implementation of training, specification, manners as well as ethos. What’s more, class advisers should have more heart-to-heart talks with students to guide them and lay stress on standard answers and review efficiency at micro level in the meantime.
In the fifth place, Principal Assistant Ling Qian was quoted as saying, ‘Standing on the test sprint line, students were not the only ones to start a race. In fact, their teachers were also receiving tests. If anything, the only difference was that students were tested inside the examination rooms while teachers were examined outside.’ Evidently, what Principal Assistant Ling said served as all teachers’ mutual encouragement.
In summary, this arrangement meeting for the revision work in the Senior High School Entrance Examination had many advantages, such as comprehensive introduction and strong guidance, which not only cleared the thoughts, indicated directions for the review work, but also blew the horn for the battle in the 2017 Senior High School Entrance Examination!
